Tree Thump Company & Band

The aboriginal sounds of Australia are turning heads in Central Illinois. The company and band, Tree Thump makes and plays an instrument with a vibrating sound that most can't ignore.

Kiwane Carrington

Kiwane Carrington was an unarmed fifteen year old boy who was shot and killed by Champaign, Illinois Police Officer Daniel Norbotz on October 9th, 2009. The details surrounding Kiwane's death have not yet been released, leaving many members of the community hurt, confused and calling for change.
